Yankee Candle COMPANY ANNUAL REPORT

This project is a design for an annual report for The Yankee Candle Company. I chose The Yankee Candle Company because it is special and uses a wide array of scents and colors in their lines of products. What I wanted to convey in the annual report is the vibrancy of the colors and how they interact with our personal surroundings. I also wanted to exude a feeling of warmth and scent that the candles bring into our lives. I tried something that is very out of the ordinary for what usually is a very traditional company. The palette includes lavender, pea green, brown and a turquoise blue. While I wanted to be edgy in the design, I continued in the footsteps of Yankee Candle’s New England feel by using a serif typeface, Caslon.
